Form is temporary, Class is permanent
"Form is temporary, Class in permanent", That's the shout the commentator gave when El Nino fired Liverpool's second goal in yesterday's merseyside derby. It has been quite a wait for Torres to return to form after his brilliance of last season that saw him become the best scoring debutant ever in the English Premier League.

Liverpool outclassed Everton right form he start till the end of the game. in the first half, Liverpool controlled the midfield with sheer class, Everton had no answers to the questions that Liverpool were asking them in the midfield but like most of this season's games, Liverpool lacked the sting from the attack which saw them struggling to get wins from the most unlikely teams (Stoke city, Standard Liage).

Torres was so frustrated with the aggressive play by Everton's back four, Keane was out of place yet again, Reira's crossings were out of mark. Gerrard and Kuyt were doing a fantastic job like they always do, yet no clear chances were created either end of the field except for that one chance Everton had which Tim Cahill was not able to find his feet to convert from close distance.

The second half started with so substitutions from either side and Liverpool again were in the driving seat. Torres's frustrations continued in the early stages of the second half were he got himself booked when he protested a foul he committed. Soon after that Alonso slots a perfect through pass to send Robbie Keane to the touchline, Keane took a slight look to his left and sent a sublime lob right across the goal to find Torres and when you see Torres approaching the the ball you already know where the ball is gonna end. Torres eased a volley in between Tim Howord's leg and it was one up to the red half of the merseyside.

After the first goal every move that Liverpool made was out of the world, beaming with confidence the red army marched into the Everton half and before you know it Keane slide a ball to Kuyt into the center of the penalty area that draws a superb tackle from Jagielca only to see the ball roll to Torres. Torres strikes a super shot into roof of Everton's net and the crowd erupts.

It was all one way now, and just within minutes Kuyt sweep the ball into the net after a Reira cross only to see it ruled out because the ball had already crossed the outside line before Reira pulled it back. A corner of awarded instead. The corner was taken short and Aurelio sent it sweet cross straight into Torres's feet and with another pin point finish Torres slotted the ball back into the far side of the goal. The hattrick though was not to be, because ref Mike Riley deemed it was a foul by Kuyt for a non existent push.

The game went on to end at 2-0 in favor of Liverpool. Watching this game made my eyes shine because finally the Liverpool strikers are back!!! Now lets see who can stop the red army. Next week will be taking Liverpool to the new billionaires, the blue half of Manchester, Manchester city let by Premier League's 32milion pounds record signing Robinho.

It's won't be an easy task to curb the speedy skillful shorties in Manchester City but i'm confident that Liverpool will come through again. Long Live Liverpool, you'll never walk alone!!.
